I'm informing you about your Newton NJ location. Today is Febuary 20, 2017 President's day.

It has come to my attention the common practices of your manger Briann. As it is posted "any employee who is sick to be sent home" well nothing is true about this notification posted on the wall. In the past daughter has been told to show up to work with a fever and cough due to a cold even after she reported herself ill asking for a cover. Today I had to bring her to the emergency room.

She called her manager "Brie" and explained that we where on our way to the hospital as she has been with suffering from migraine headaches and body aches, she also stated she would bring her a note from the hospital at witch point this woman abruptly spoke and question her statements with little to no effort to communicate, to put it nicely, and preceded to hang up on her. She seemed angry as she habiatually interacts with her less appreciative employees. We spent the next four hours at the hospital with An Iv, X-ray and other treatments she needed as she was diagnosed with Acute Bronchitis. Other employees as we read have complaints about both your Newton and wantage nj locations where your managers have them show up with fevers over 101 and other illments that require immediate and urgent care.

My daughter has been told to go to the back and cough there. How is this an acceptable solution when virouses and germs have no restrictions and knowledge of space? I ask of you to consider not only your employees but the customers who unfortunately are exposed to this viral and other germs through the food and ice cream they Are being served at these locations, not to mention the efiency of your so call managers who obviously are violating both health codes and company policies. As I also am a regular customer of these restaurant locations on a regular basis I will be reconsidering eating at neither one and will share this with as many people i can.

There is no proper justification for such working environment and customers alike to be put threw.

I assure you many more are and will become aware of these facts including local health officials in the area. This is apoling and unacceptable as it is also abusive on the part of the people you place in charge of your franchises that carries your name and reputation.

Sadly, this kind of treatment of employees is all too common in the big chain restaurant business. Employees need no secondary education, nor are they required to be skilled labor, hence they are expendable.

I know people, who were injured on the job, but were discouraged from filing a Worker's Compensation claim. It's bad.

Your daughter needs to contact the HR department. This manager's actions have to end.
